In October 2020, KEDALI Sweden AB moved in the Industrial regions of the town Skellefteå, Sweden. The company specializes in the development and production of precision components for lithium-ion batteries and structural parts for battery components. KEDALI’s customers include eight of the ten largest lithium-ion battery manufacturers in the world. The Swedish plant at Skellefteå was built and equipped from October 2021 to May 2022. In the late 2023 the construction of another facility which would be twice the size of the current facility would start to build. Tens of millions of euros have been invested in the project and a lot more to be invested in the coming years. In order to drive further expansion, the company is currently investing to a greater extent in the development and training of its workforce. The aim is to employ around 280 people at the site in order to meet the constantly growing demand in the e-mobility market.
